Robert Bennett Lamb
Biography
Born in Cranston, Rhode Island. Married Myrna Barenboim. They have two children. Graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1944. Received BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1952 and MFA from Cornell University in 1954. Resident of Lincoln, Rhode Island.
He designed the reverse of the Mount Rushmore $5 gold coin of 1991 and the 1991 USO Anniversary dollar obverse.
