Ray L. Lawrence
Biography
Twin brother of Roy. Attended Coe College, University of Minnesota and University of Iowa. Served during WWII. Employed with Internal Revenue Service 1943 to 1955. DBA Lawrence Brothers in Anamosa, Iowa.
Publisher of Official Bureau Precancel Catalog. In 1946 the name was changed to The Coin Collector. The publication was sold to Ed Babka in 1966. In March 1968 the publication was sold to Krause Publications.
Ray died in a hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
