Robert I. Nesmith
Biography
Born in New York. Married with children. Founder of Foul Anchor Archives.
Author of The Coinage of the First Mint of the Americas at Mexico City 1536-1572. He specialized in treasure hunting and wrote Dig for Pirate Treasure (1958) He wrote under the pseudonym Captain Jafar Clarke.
He received the Archer Huntington Medal Award from the ANS.
He died at Indianapolis, Florida.
