Born in Danville, Pennsylvania.Received masters degree from San Francisco State University. Married to Dian Suta July 29, 1978. They have two children.
Patrick deals in territorial gold coins, colonial coins, patterns, U.S. type coins and numismatic literature. He collects Montana tokens and Byzantine coins. In 1962 he discovered the 1858 over inverted date half dime. He is credited with discovery of a new Connecticut copper variety with obverse of 33.12 and reverse of Z.10 in the Miller classification system.
Employed as a full time rare coin dealer since 1970. He is the owner of The Patrick Mint. They struck silver art bars during 1972 to 1973. They struck a series of copper tokens 1976 to 1979. There were 1341 different tokens struck, many with Bicentennial themes.
Patrick contributed several articles to The Numismatist and Penny-Wise. Author of The Bicentennial Tokens of the Patrick Mint issued in 1977 at $3.50. He catalogued sales for Kagins 1987 to 1988. He is a member of ANS, CNL, CWTS, EAC, NBS, PNG and other organizations.
