Joseph F. Sawicki
Biography
Born in Gorzno, Poland. Received law degree from Baldwin Wallace College. Admitted to the Ohio bar in 1904. Married to Elizabeth Veronika Sadowski with four children.
Served in Ohio legislature. Judge in Cleveland Municipal Court 1918 to 1933.
He formed an outstanding collection of Polish coins. He was also noted for a collection of U. S. large cents. Portions of his collection were sold at auction by Federal Brand .
