Scott Michael Schechter
Biography
Graduate of Harvard in 2000. He was an intern at the Smithsonian working with the National Numismatic Collection in 1994. Employed with Pinnacle Rarities. Chief Numismatist and Grading Finalizer at Numismatic Guarantee Corporation.
He contributes the “Making Moderns” column to Coin World after June 2012. Author, with Jeff Garrett, of 100 Greatest U. S. Modern Coins. In 2022 he was on the Coin World list of Most Influential People in Numismatics.
