He contributed "Civil War Vignettes" column to NN. Editor of Paper Money, the journal of SPMC after 1976. Editor of the TAMS Journal prior to 1981. Publisher of the journal of the Civil War Token Society.
Author of Illustrated Guide to Wisconsin Civil War Tokens in 1968.
