Married to Carol. Employed as an interior decorator.

Collector and authority on prison money. Author of Prison Money: The Media of Exchange of Our Penal Institutions.

Served a president of the Ocean County Coin Club and the Garden State Numismatic Association 1985-1987. 

He died at Burnt Tavern Convalescent Center in Brink, New Jersey.
