Biography
From Grand Island, Nebraska. Served in the Army during WWII. Employed in insurance business. Married with a daughter. Later married to Helen.
With Helen, they formed the Society for U.S. Commemorative Coins in 1983. Owner of O'Carmody Coins. He received the Krause Publications Numismatic Ambassador Award in 1991. Received the ANA Glenn Smedley Award in 1994.
He died in Huntington Beach, California.
