William Walcutt
Biography
Born in Columbus, Ohio. Attended Granville College.
Married Agnes M. Leeds in 1855. He began his career as a portrait painter. Studied in London and Paris. He opened a studio in New York City in 1855. Designer of the Henry Clay medal (Julian PE-7).
He died in Brooklyn.
