Biography
Born in Los Angeles. Served in U.S. Navy. Attended Upper Iowa College. Employed by Northwestern Bell 1964 to 2003. Married with three daughters. Owner of BR's Coins and More in Hiawatha, Iowa.
Instructor at the ANA summer seminar regularly after 1995. He served on the ANA Board in 2005, resigned in 2007. He received the Outstanding District Delegate Award in 1994, Adult Advisor of the Year in 1998, Outstanding District Delegate Award in 1998, Outstanding Club Representative Award in 2002 and the Adna G. Wilde Jr. Award for Excellence in 2012.In 2017 he received the ANA Farran Zerbe Memorial Award.
Named Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador in 2003.
