Floyd Bell Newell
Biography
Born in Elvira, New York. Attended Syracuse University. Married to Edith May Field. Research engineer.
President of the Rochester Numismatic Association in 1942 and curator of their collection. He received the ANA Medal of Merit in 1950. The Floyd B. Newell Numismatic Library was sold at auction by the Katens in 1968.
He died in Rochester.
