Born in Denver. Married to Kim with two children. Received Ph.D. from University of Nebraska.

Curator at the Durham Western Heritage Museum including the Byron Reed collection. Curator at the American Numismatic Association August 2001 to October 2003.

Author of The Coins of Fort Atkinson.
