Richard McPerren Cabeen
Biography
Graduated from University of Illinois in 1909. Married to Blenae. Employed as an architect.
Author of “The Coin Collector” for the Chicago Tribune after 1966. Also their stamp columnist after 1923. Author of The Standard Handbook of Stamp Collecting (1957). He received the Luft Award from the American Philatellic Society in 1960. It is their highest award.
He died at home in Chicago.
