Thomas J. Uram
Biography
Graduated from University of Kentucky in 1982. Married to Lynn. Served as president of the Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists. Served on the Citizen’s Coinage Advisory Commission 2012-2021.
Numismatic exhibitor and exhibit judge. He was named a Numismatic Ambassador in 2017.
He served on the ANA Board 2017 to 2019. He ran for vice president in 2019.
He received an ANA Presidential Award in 2011, a Glenn Smedley Memorial Award in 2019, and a Medal of Merit in 2020. In 2022 he received the first Chester L. Krause Memorial Distinguished Service Award. In 2022 and 2024 he was on the Coin World list of 100 Most Influential People in Numismatics.
