Biography
(L2022) Graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia. Employed by Christies, Superior Stamp and Coin, Spink America, R. M. Smyth. Owner of Delphi International Ancient Arts 1996 to 2008. Columnist for Coin World. Grader with NGC. Editor of the Journal of the Society for Ancient Numismatics 1994 to 1997. Author of Coinage and History of the Roman Empire. In 2021 he was on the Coin World list of The Most Influential People in Numismatics 1960-2020. Later in 2021, he was named the ANA Numismatist of the Year. He made the Coin World list again in 2022.
