Born in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Graduated fromYale University. Painter and sculptor. He sculpted Ronald Reagan for the National Statuary Hall Collection.

He was appointed to the Commission of Fine Arts by Trump in 2021 but replaced by Biden later in 2021.
