Harry Waterson
Biography
Born and raised in New York City. Attended Cathedral College in Brooklyn; Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, L.I.; St. Peters College, Jersey City; and Columbia University in Morningside Heights.
Retired entertainment executive, mostly television production.
He began collecting western sculpture in 1970 including works of Fraser and Remington. He expanded into medals of James Earle Fraser and Laura Gardin Fraser. The acquisition of a medal by Julio Kilenyi led to research for a book on Kilenyi, now at 1,100 pages and growing.
He has contributed articles to The Clarion for Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists, The Centinel for Central States Numismatic Society, OMSA Journal. MCA Advisory and TAMS Journal.
He joined the Ozarks’ Coin Club in 2006 and has made more than 100 presentations to the Golden Eagles, members of the Ozarks’ Coin Club over 50.
