Charles Francis Adams
Biography
Born in Boston, son of John Quincy Adams. Graduated from Harvard in 1825. He read law, passed the bar and practiced law in Boston. Married Abigail Brown Brooks in 1828. They had seven children.
He inherited a coin collection formed by his grandfather and father.
