Ole P. Eklund
Biography
Born in Armatofta, Skane, Sweden. He built a cabin in Idaho and logged the land. Later he built a home in Spokane. The house had no electricity. Unmarried.
Author of many articles for The Numismatist. He owned more than 30,000 numismatic books and 40,000 world coins, specializing in copper coins. In 1945 the ANA named him the "Leading Collector of Copper Coins of the World." In 1972 he was inducted into the ANA Numismatc Hall of Fame.
