Aaron R. Feldman
Biography
Born in Newark, New Jersey. Married to Marcia Popick with two sons. Served with the Rainbow Division during WWI. Employed in the millinery business.
He opened "the world's smallest coin shop" in New York City. His ad in the March 1966 issue of The Numismatist had the headline, "BUY THE BOOK BEFORE THE COIN." It also appeared on his fixed price lists. The quote would be Feldman's claim to fame.
Feldman consigned coins to a Bolender auction in 1951. His collection was sold at auction by Swann Galleries November 29, 1973. He died at home in Scarsdale, New York.
