Caroline Harrison
Biography
Born as Caroline Lavinia Scott in Oxford, Ohio. Married to Benjamin Harrison om October 20, 1853, with a son and daughter. She died of tuberculosis while living in the White house.
She appears on the “First Spouse” $10 gold coin and medal released December 6, 2012. The obverse was designed by Frank Morris and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. The reverse was designed by Donna Weaver and sculpted by Charles L. Vickers.
