U.S. National Archives (Coining Die Records)
U.S. Mint die shipment, destruction, and usage records from the National Archives & Records Administration (NARA). Compiled by Roger W. Burdette from various NARA series, and including documents scanned under the direction of R. W. Julian, operating under a grant from Central States Numismatic Society. Documents are watermarked with the originating NARA record group and entry number. This data is not consolidated within NARA and has been gathered from multiple locations.
Notes: the ledger covering the years 1839-1854 is listed under 1839. Die records for a specific year are sometimes listed in the following year, as die reports were prepared in January.
