ABE KOSOFF
Martin Gengerke notes: "AKA Numismatic Gallery from the 9th to the 83rd sale. Abner Kreisberg was associated with the firm from the 29th to the 83rd sale, forming his own firm in 1954. Like Kagin's, Kosoff occasionally assigned more than one sale number to a catalog. Unlike Kagin's rationale (the larger than normal size of their sales), Kosoff seems to have assigned one sale number to each session of a public sale. The Fractional Currency section (Maurice M. Burgett collection) of the 1958 ANA Sale was reprinted with many illustrations, none of which appeared in the original catalog."
