This presentation will offer a step by step look at the entire minting process, from raw materials to finished products. At each step it will describe how the process is supposed to work, what the results are when things do not go as planned (AKA mint errors), and why these things happen. Included are many pictures and some videos drawn from Moffatt's 34 years in the minting trade where it was his job to prevent these errors.
