Marginal tear to fourth introductory leaf; light foxing. Very good. The first part of Sestini’s catalogue of the Hedervar (Count Michael Wiczay) collection. Rare: the only copy we have handled in over thirty years. Sestini was unhappy with the final product (see following). Babelon notes that “Sestini’s description of Roman coins from the Hedervar museum remains in manuscript; it was acquired in 1900 by the Department of Manuscripts at the Bibliothèque Nationale (Rev. num., 1900, p. 100).” Babelon 133.
