(Author's Introduction) It is now over twenty years that David Evans wrote his catalogue on plastic toy coins and their related paper money. With this, collecting British plastic coins became easier, with the various types carefully described, and explained. I’m one of many who started collecting these wonderful pieces because now one could learn and understand what they are....... Starting from there and helped by the internet bringing global marketplaces many additional types and varieties have come to light. This catalogue also fills some of the gaps, adds, or corrects information with new evidence now available.
