Andrews, Frank
Born in Southington, Connecticut. Married to Besse Ayars. Resident of Vineland, New Jersey. In 1910 he built a museum for his various collections in Vineland. His collection of 400 different varieties of large cents was exhibited at the 1912 ANA convention.
Author of A Description of 268 Varieties of United States Cents, 1816-57, in the Collection of Frank D Andrews. Fifty copies were printed in 1881. Author of An Arrangement of United States Copper Cents, 1816-1857 published in 1883. Max Mehl and the Guttag brothers issued reprints about 1924.
He died in Philadelphia.
