Tatman, Charles
Born in Worchester, Massachusetts. Received LL.B. from Harvard in 1894. Married Anna C. Svedberg August 28, 1901. Practiced law in Worchester. Alderman for Worchester in 1906. He was active with the local bar association and president in 1920. Active with many civic organizations.
He wrote a coin column for Plain Talk at age 20. It was the first official newsletter for the ANA in 1891. He was one of the founders of the ANA and member number 2. He served as the first secretary. Author of The Beginnings of United States Coinage. He died in Worcester, Massachusetts.
