Wiley, Randall

Born in Milford, Delaware. Attended University of Delaware. Worked for the Dupont Company. Enlisted in U. S. Navy in 1965.  Married Jean Carol Erickson on February 22, 1969. They had two sons. Completed his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland in 1972. Employed with the Navy Command until retirement in 1997 with 29 years service.

He joined the Liberty Seated Collectors Club in 1976. Speaker at the ANS COAC in 1986.

Author with Bill Bugert of Complete Guide to Liberty Seated Half Dollars (1993). The book was sold and distributed by the authors. In 2005 he completed his collection of 305 Seated Half Dollar varieties by WB number, the first collector to do so. In 2011 he was inducted into the LSCC Hall of Fame.
