Richardson, Hobart
Born at Clinton, now Benton, Maine. He graduated with highest honors from Waterville College in 1853. Married with a son. Employed with the United States Coast Survey. Owner of the Portland Advertiser after 1868.
Author of The Standard Dollar; National Banks (1880); Paper Money (1879).
He died at (Portland) Maine General Hospital.
