Hall, Thomas

(ca. 1841)

Physician in Boston. Author of A Descriptive List of the Coppers Used by Authority for the State of Connecticut For the Year 1787 in 1892. He assembled an important collection of cents. He also was strong in colonial coppers. His collection included 356 Connecticut cents, 156 New Jersey cents, 671 Washington medals and 214 Lincoln medals. Hall was a member of the Boston Numismatic Society. He died in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. His collection was purchased from the estate by Virgil Brand in 1909.
