Bahram
A name given to the copper five cash piece of Mysore, by Tipu Sultan, in 1790, after the adoption of bis new system of reckoning. This sys- tem was begun in 1786, and was based on the Muludi, i.e., dating from the birth of the Prophet. The name of the coin is the Persian designation of the planet Mars.
