Baisa

In a report of the United States Consulate at Maskat, Oman, dated March 23, 1911, it is stated that the only Oman coin is the copper Baisa or " Maskat Pice. " " It is used in retail transactions and can usually be exchanged in small quantities at the rate of twelve Baisas for one Anna of Indian currency. "
