Halbskoter

or Schoter. Originally a silver weight and the one twenty-fourth of the Mark. It was never used as a coin though Halbskoter were struck by the Grand Masters of the Teutonic Orders as early as the fourteenth century, with the inscription MONETA DOMINORVM PRVSSIE. The half of this coin was known as the Vierchen.
