Vierchen
This word is used in a gen- eral sense for any small coin that repre- sents the fourth part of some standard. It is applied to the fractions of the Bran- denburg Groschen struck under Frederick II (1440-1470) at Prenzlau, and to the divisions of the Halbskoter. See Skoter.
