An 1/8 real silver coin from Spain produced by Fernando & Isabel with their initials on it. 2. It was a copper coin during Felipe II�s reign and it continued into the 1700s in various forms. 3. A Spanish copper coin minted by Fernando VII in Barcelona in 1813. 4. Various copper coins equal to 2 maraved�s or 1/8 of a real from the 1500s into the reign of Isabel II. 5. Slang for the 1/8 real copper coin of Mexico. 6. Puerto Rico slang for the U.S. nickels which circulate on that island, a U.S. territory. The word is derived from �1/8.�
