Octavo

A 1/8, a common early Spanish fractional coin. 2. A 1/8 real copper coin was used in 1700s Mexico and the Philippines. Another octavo was used during the Mexico Revolution of 1812-1813, and later copied by the state of Jalisco, 1828-1862.
