£40,000 ($133,333) in Treasury Notes dated March 1, 1780 and payable by Mar. 1, 1784 with 5% interest in Spanish milled dollars at 6s per dollar or the equivalent, pursuant to the Jan. 1780 Act. The same small State seal appears as on prior issue. Printed by Timothy Green II. These were signed and numbered in red ink. The signers were John Chester, Jabez Hamlin, Benjamin Payne, Elisha Williams, and George Wyllys. They were customarily slash or hole cancelled on redemption.
