£40,000 (£20,000 & £20,000) in New Tenor Bills of Credit, issued pursuant to March 1744/45 & July 1745 Acts for public obligations and preparation for the Cape Breton expedition. The same face plates as prior issue with "Mar. 14, 1744/5", were added without changing other dates. The latest date was included in typeset text on back. Printed by Timothy Green. Because the great plate was unfit for use, it was strengthened by recutting and additional insignia. These bills used the same signers as prior issue.
