| Description | Alan V. Weinberg comments: I've seen several others of this US Mint -struck Mexican War medal in silver, usually marred or cleaned bright. This a a gem toned silver Proof. Several yrs ago, I was tentatively offered a gold, engraved/awarded specimen that was supposedly in Europe. I had to make an offer. Nothing further was heard. |
