| Description | Alan V. Weinberg comments: DeWitt/Sullivan unlisted. 55mm x 37mm. Superb essentially mint jugate ferrotype which I first obs'd 3 yrs ago (this Sept 2011) and was not for sale. But the collector remembered me & offered it 3 yrs later. I jumped. One of the finest condition period political ferros I've seen. Fragile in structure, it was clearly never worn with the almost always separated reverse pin fully intact. The ferrotypes themselves with fully original gloss and near perfection. |
