Description | 1787 CONNCT Connecticut Copper, Mailed Bust Left, M. 11.1-E, W-2870, R.2 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. VF. Die alignment: 210?. An attractive piece, if unevenly struck and cleaned long ago. The obverse is well-struck on most of the upper half while being weaker on the lower. The reverse features a strong date and boldly engraved Liberty. The Miller E reverse is used on a total of three varieties, and features a very wide space between the I and B of LIB, the last letter of which is misshapen. This is the only use of the obverse die.
