| Description | 1786 NJERSY New Jersey Copper, Protruding Tongue, Maris 16-L, W-4840, R.2, VF30 NGC. Die alignment: 210?. Medium brown fields with hints of red and blue toning contrast with tan devices and lettering. A solid example of this popular Guide Book variety, with its distinctive obverse rim cud at RE and the smaller die crack emanating from the horse's mouth giving the variety its name.
