Description | 1852 3CS MS64 NGC. The second-year 1852 three-cent silver claims the highest mintage in the series with a production in excess of 18.6 million coins. Examples are correspondingly available in mint condition, making them ideal for type representation. This near-Gem has bold legends and stars. Dramatic die clash marks appear on each side, as does a blanket of golden-orange, violet, and rose iridescence. Glowing luster shines from the smooth underlying surfaces. Ex: Eric P.
