1865 3CN MS61 NGC. The debut issue in the three cent nickel series is a popular type coin. The nickel three cent was issued alongside the silver variant at the end of the Civil War, when the public was hoarding silver coinage. This Uncirculated survivor is satiny and lightly toned.
