| Description | 1946 50C Booker T. Washington MS66 NGC. Dave Bowers estimates that of the 1 million 1946 Booker T. Washington halves struck for sale to collectors, perhaps 700,000 were actually distributed. This is the most readily available issue in the series, frequently encountered in MS66 but seldom seen finer.
