1913 5C Type Two PR65 NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The 1913 Buffalo Nickel is an important first-year type issue, and the proof mintage for the Type Two design was only 1,514 pieces. This impressive Gem displays strong definition, save for LIBERTY. The matte surfaces reveal toning in shades of gold, olive-green, red, and orange, with the reverse exhibiting color that is more pronounced. The obverse reveals a vertical pattern of natural alloy streaks. A tiny spot of color appears below the Indian's eye. Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R. Green; Green Estate; Partnership of Eric P. Newman / B.G.
