1890 10C MS66 NGC. CAC. Nearly 10 million of these Seated dimes were minted, but few survive in better Mint State grades. An attractively toned Premium Gem example, this piece displays shades of blue-green, yellow-gold, plum, peach, golden-orange, and sea-green. A deep gray patina appears on the obverse near portions of the outer edges. Areas of incompleteness are present on Liberty's face and the wreath. The reverse exhibits minor strike-throughs at the center and the rim reveals a few small cuds near 12 o'clock. Census: 67 in 66 (2 in 66+, 8 in 66 S), 10 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
