1856-O 25C MS61 NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The 1856-O quarter is rare in any Mint State grade, despite the relatively generous mintage of nearly 1 million pieces. This MS61 example shows small areas of silver brilliance contrasting with grayish patina deepening to charcoal near the rims in places.
